Structural Engineer (Quebec)

As our Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for working with clients and the project team to develop, analyze, and design a variety of steel and concrete structures that support the overall project needs.

• Work collaboratively with Project Management team and other members of the Engineering and Design team to prepare detailed design drawings and reports to meet structural requirements. Provide design concepts and layouts relating to various structures, ensuring they are structurally sound and satisfy all building code requirements.
• Participate in proposal development and execution phases of various projects, working collaboratively with other departments such as Business Development, Project Planners, Front-end Design team, and Project Managers.
• Provide authority over the sealing of drawings as a professional engineer and interact with clients as needed.
• Visit worksites and provide direction to field staff and installation crews regarding designs and any challenges.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation registered in the province of Quebec.
• Senior design engineering experience.
• Knowledge of relevant design codes related to concrete and steel structural design in Canada.
• Hands on experience in building and structural construction – ideally with industrial process facilities.
• Experience working in deadline driven environments with competing projects and priorities.
• The ability to travel as needed.
