Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist, Business Services & Outsourcing ("BSO"), to join our team. This role will work closely with the Markets & Industry team and BSO service line leaders to support the development and implementation of strategic marketing programs. While owning the following responsibilities, you will be able to work from both our Guelph and Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario offices.

• Execute marketing campaigns and initiatives and report results and provide ROI related recommendations
• Actively participate in the adoption of digital tools such as Workday, Smartsheet, CRM, marketing automation, content delivery platforms and other tools from our MarTech stack.
• Develop and track project plans including budgets, approvals, key dates and milestones to ensure deadlines and deliverables.
• Manage all event/webinar logistics including invitations, mailing lists, handout materials, site management, speakers, visual presentations and follow-up efforts including facility arrangements.
• Work with design, digital and content marketing to ensure initiatives are incorporated in content and social media strategy.
• Evaluate event performance, including return on investment tracking, delivering feedback, and providing debrief/post-event reports and analysis.
• Support other marketing and marketing communications activities within BSO as required
• The role might require occasional travel to other locations and firm events.

Your experience and education

• You have a University degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business or commensurate work experience within a B2B or professional services organization
• You have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in B2B or professional services role
• You have demonstrable project management experience
• You have strong experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and most common digital tools
• You have a capacity to meet tight deadlines, steer several projects simultaneously and manage priorities
• You are creative, autonomous and self-starting
• You have a metrics-driven mindset, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• You have strong communication and presentation skills, both in written and verbal correspondence, while being detail-oriented
• You have excellent interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong relations with demanding professionals
