As the Shipping Manager you are the invaluable resource for clients to ensure the correct products are shipped on the correct date and in the format expected by them. You will bring energy and passion to every interaction to ensure your team and our clients are receiving exceptional service. In addition, you will clearly communicate our standards and what is expected to be a successful member of our team.

This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package, and room for growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handles end of day processes, picking and sorting orders, including labelling
• Stacking pallets, trailers, trucks
• Using forklift operation to move material around and outside the manufacturing facility
• Ensuring material moves efficiently through the production process and shipping areas
• Overseeing, coordinating, and ensuring the finished goods are properly labelled, wrapped, weighted, and sorted
• Meet daily shipping targets to meet operations and growth initiatives
• Shipping and receiving materials and finished goods
• Active contribution and involvement to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  
• Contributing in a positive manner to reinforce our safety culture
• Other duties as maybe assigned, including helping the Plant Operations and other departments as needed

Knowledge/Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 3-years’ experience in Shipping and Receiving
• Minimum 5-years' experience in a Manufacturing or Warehouse environment
• Minimum 3-years' experience in a Supervisory or Managerial capacity
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and Standard Operating Procedure instructions
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs. frequently)
• Working knowledge of safe lifting methods
• Valid Forklift License
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• MS Teams (preferred)
