Security Guard / Doorman Job at Grafton Connor Group
Grafton Connor Group in Halifax is currently looking to hire Door staff (Security) for its large and unique combined nightclub, The Dome, Nomad, Roxbury and Hide & Seek.
Door Staff are quite often the first and last employees the public see when attending our nightclub, and are responsible for the safety and security of our venues. With that being said we are looking for customer service driven individuals to join our team. The club does have sections open 7 days a week, so there are opportunities to work throughout the week. The majority of the shifts however will be Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must not have a Criminal Record
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must understand that use of reasonable and lawful force in removing unruly patrons may sometimes be required, and be physically capable of doing so
- Must be willing to work weekend nights, start times ranging from 9pm-12am, and ending at 4am.
- Must be able to work well under stress
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: $15.00-$19.65 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
