Experience the energy and activity of aviation in Dawson City, the heart of the Klondike, as an Air North, Yukon’s Airline Station Attendant. Along with being the friendly face of check-in, your role will be to provide safe, efficient and accurate handling of baggage and cargo – as well as ensuring the safety of aircraft, equipment and your fellow teammates.

As a station attendant, you will be responsible for performing cargo and passenger services, including: loading & unloading baggage and cargo, equipment checks and fueling, marshalling aircraft in and out, ensuring compliance with Transport Canada and Air North safety regulations and policies are upheld, and regulatory submissions. This is an exciting, fast-paced, and time-critical place to be, right at the center of the action. A professional attitude and ability to work in a team environment are key.

• Qualifications/Conditions of Employment:
• Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must successfully complete an initial ramp training program
• Be physically fit (able to lift up to 75 pounds and able to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop and climb repetitively)
• Must have Class 5 Driver’s License and clean abstract
• Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or show proof of right to work in Canada
• Must be able to obtain and retain an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP) License
• Prepared to work outside in all climatic conditions
• Previous airline experience would be considered an asset
