Sales Representative (Ceilings) - Greater Toronto Area

CGC Inc. is currently recruiting for a Sales Representative in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Position Description:

This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their selling and customer service skills in a fast-paced sales environment. Reporting to the Ceilings Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for promotion, sales and service of our products to dealers, distributors and contractors. Strong focus on ceilings products. The incumbent will become the ceilings expert for the region. With a passion for customer service and commitment to follow through, the Sales Representative is responsible for growing sales volumes by building relationships and providing the required support to dealers, distributors and contractors. Key in this effort will be influencing customer loyalty by delivering a high level of customer service via proactive customer contact, industry knowledge and networking, product training, deep technical product knowledge, large project coordination, job tracking, job quotes and prompt complaint resolution. Developing strong relationships with internal departments including marketing, manufacturing, design, distribution, customer service and accounting is also critical for success in this role. The Sales Representative works within general guidelines and procedures, exercising independent judgment while being committed to safety, quality, reliability and customer service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture or a related field.
• 3 years minimum customer facing experience (technical expertise and industry knowledge is preferred).
• Excellent communication, public speaking and customer service skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must be a people and results-oriented individual who incorporates and emphasizes safety and quality in every aspect of job.
• Must demonstrate success at working independently with a sense of urgency and high level of customer focus.
