Job Description
The Role
Forming part of Round 1 of the staffing cycle for the 2023/24 school year, we welcome all interested candidates to apply. All successful candidates must be fluent in French. We have the following three positions open:
French Immersion Math, Science, and CTF courses for grades 8 & 9
The Candidate
As a member of a highly motivated team and student-centered educator, you are prepared to collaborate with colleagues in a Professional Learning Community. Your teaching practice includes the ability to design and plan learning activities that transfer, and develop thinking competencies. Further, your practice assesses individual student variables to inform the design of meaningful and experiential learning opportunities and effective assessment practice.
Your ability to foster effective professional relationships with student, families, staff and community is critical. You demonstrate a willingness to engage in extra-curricular activities and support students in the whole school experience that characterizes effective schools. Your capacity to integrate technologies and and support experiential learning that connects students to community resources within Maker-centered learning, CTF and CTS learning environments is evident.
