Robotics Technician Job at Machine Control Solution
- Researching and developing new robotics technologies to improve performance of existing robots or develop new applications for them
- Troubleshooting problems with existing robotic systems and making any necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintaining and repairing existing robotic systems, including computerized controls, mechanical arms and legs, sensors, and other components
- Installing and maintaining PLC programming and other software used in robotics applications
- Performing routine maintenance on robots, including lubricating moving parts and replacing worn components
- Improving existing designs based on feedback from supervisors or clients
- Installing, repairing, or maintaining robots for industrial or commercial applications such as welding, painting, material handling, or assembly line work
