Relief Bus Driver
(BL)
Applications will be accepted for the following position until:
12:00 Noon, Wednesday, May 10, 2023
Location: Burns Lake Bus Shop
Position: Relief Bus Driver – Cheslatta Route 601
Hours of Work: 6.17 hours per day, 5 days per week
Rate of Pay: $29.63 per hour as per the current Collective Agreement
Duties to Commence: May 11, 2023 until the regular employee returns
Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate) – preference given
BC driver’s license - Class 2 Full Privileged with air endorsement and an
exemplary driving record/current driver's abstract
Valid first aid certificate and CPR training
Courses & training in defensive driving or a combination of training &
experience
WHMIS 2015 and familiarity with WorkSafeBC (WCB) safety procedures
Six months of demonstrated successful experience driving vehicles requiring
BC Class 2 or higher license in all seasons
Priority will be given to those with Class 2 and air endorsement. Consideration will be
given to those who have a Class 5 and are interested in acquiring their Class 2 and air
endorsement. SD91 driver training orientation will be provided upon hire.
