WHAT WE OFFER:

· $5,000 New Hire Incentive (more details will be provided at the interview stage)

MAIN DUTIES:

Directs and supervises nursing staff in providing health care to residents. Possesses the ability and the passion to support person centered care, and change the culture of aging in long term care. Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates activities for the efficient and effective management of the nursing units and staff. In the absence of management staff (evenings, nights and weekends) the Registered Nurse provides supervision to the entire facility and all departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Licensed Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario

· Current CPR (Level C or Health Care Provider) certificate

· Demonstrated leadership ability with comprehensive knowledge of nursing and health care practices and techniques as they relate to Long Term Care

· Experience with computers and software

· Good communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates empathy, patience, and tact. Able to work as part of a team.

· Valid Ontario driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle with insurance are required.

· Able to travel to all 3 locations

· Able to work all three shifts (days, afternoons, nights) and all days of the week

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $44.13-$55.16 per hour
