The Fleet Assets Regional Manager is responsible for the day to day management of Fleet assets for their region. This includes reacting to maintenance issues but also coordinating regular maintenance updates in a way that does not affect the daily business operations.
What You'll Do:
Support the National team in negotiating contracts and service level agreements for third party service providers.
Research and evaluate new vehicles and along with the National Asset manager direct the functions and activities related to the procurement of new vehicles and equipment.
Assist with the processing of insurance claims involving Fleet equipment.
Audit and approve third party invoices for supply and maintenance services.
Direct and participate in the maintenance of equipment records and files related to maintenance, repairs, projects, mileage and lease details.
Travel to maintenance shops to inspect equipment, monitor repair projects and pick up parts when necessary.
Arrange for troubleshooting and third party repairs when required of the In Vehicle Communication system.
Track all charged repairs and develop systems and strategies to reduce charged repair costs to all vehicles.
