SM Polymers Inc. continues to grow! We are a plastic resin distributor located Fergus Ontario with sales across North America.

We are searching for hard working and dedicated employees to expand our recycling operations work hours.

Are you a night owl? Do you like to work overnight? Are you punctual and reliable? Can you work individually, and as part of a larger group? How do 3 day weekends sound?

We are looking for 2 or 3 individuals to fill this newly created shift: Monday to Thursday 9PM to 7AM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Safe and efficient operation of recycling equipment, including grinders, shredders, densifiers, band saws, cleaners, and an extruder.

· Experience with rotating equipment, machine maintenance, and extrusion operation is a definite asset.

· Load, unload & move products and materials by using basic material handling equipment

· Perform other activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.

· Operate Forklift in a safe manner.

· Keep all manufacturing and shipping/receiving areas organized.

· Must be able to lift 25-30kgs (55-66 lbs) and assist with repackaging of materials.

· Practice safe work procedures and follow all health & safety regulations.

Wages: Dependant on experience and ability. Extrusion and grinder operators will be given preference. Benefits are available after 3 months, with overtime rate paid after 44 hours.

Need to Have Skills & Experience:

Plastic Extrusion, Safe Forklift Operation, Manufacturing, Warehouse or Production Experience, attention to detail, punctuality, and attendance.

Good to Have Skills & Experience:

Rotational equipment operation, machine maintenance, inventory control and the ability to trouble shoot equipment as well as basic physical material testing.

Bonus Skills & Experience:

Excel and Word proficiency.

Salary: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
