What is the Opportunity?
Reporting to the Director Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Business Partner will play a key role in attracting and retaining top talent within the operating sector. This individual will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide expert guidance and client focused support throughout the recruitment process.

What You'll Do Here:
  • Conduct full life-cycle recruitment for all open roles across the operating sector. This includes sourcing, recruitment, screening resumes, conducting telephone screens, interviewing, reference checks, composing and extending job offers.
  • Guiding candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a smooth onboarding experience in partnership with the HR Business Partnering team.
  • Proactively building a talent pipeline for future opportunities within the sector.
  • Support the co-op, trade labor pipeline and community partnership programs for the sector.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to identify competencies required for roles, assist and consult on the development of job descriptions and ensuring job postings attract the intended profile and generate a high degree of interest.
  • In conjunction with the HR Business Partnering team, make compensation related recommendations to the hiring manager in line with the Company’s job structure;
  • Sourcing and screening candidates through a variety of channels, such as job boards, LinkedIn recruiter, social media, community outreach/relations and employee referrals
  • Develop a deep understanding of the operating sector staffing needs, goals, and priorities.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and Human Resources to develop and implement recruitment strategies and build brand-awareness that align with the operating sector goals and objectives
  • Consult with hiring managers and HR Business Partnering team to provide updates on the labor market, candidate availability, sourcing methods, recruitment risks, relocation packages and more.
  • Proactively Identify and recommend solutions to recruitment challenges and problems.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with the business to understand and forecast recruitment needs and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process-improvement, share best practices and support the change management in partnership with operational HR.
  • Use recruitment data and metrics to gain valuable insights into recruitment trends and incorporate into overall recruitment strategies.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required
  • Deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude and a professional focus
  • Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belongin

What You Bring to the Team:
  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, including 2+ years leading end-to-end efforts, you have a proven track record in sourcing top talent and building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members as well as internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills that enable you to clearly communicate with different audiences, stakeholders, and end-users, including making recommendations and influencing outcomes.
  • Experience developing and implementing recruitment strategies.
  • Exceptional organization and emerging project management skills with proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • You're a collaborative self-starter and creative problem solver who identifies opportunities for improvement and efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues by analyzing and evaluating possible solutions
  • Demonstrated ability using MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems, particularly SuccessFactors, and have a proven track record of effectively utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media platforms to identify and engage with top talent.
