ServiceMaster Restore of Edmonton requires an experienced Receptionist!

Reporting to the General Manager, the Receptionist is the face of the company making guests feel welcome, delivering high standard customer service and overseeing the efficiency of the front office. Position Overview

  • Highly organized self-starter who is able to work independently

  • Exceptional telephone and email etiquette and customer service skills

  • Efficiently multi-task job planning, execute decisions and problem solve complex tasks
  • Effectively work with customers, adjusters, sub-contractors and employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to prioritize and meet all assigned time lines

Responsibilities

  • Answer, screen and direct all incoming phone calls. Relay messages accurately as required.
  • Greet, sign in and direct all visitors who enter the ServiceMaster facility
  • Handle all inquiries from insurance companies and clients and providing accurate information
  • Provide general office/ administrative support such as scanning, data entry, faxing and photocopying, and maintain spreadsheets
  • Enter of all new incident claims, from insurance companies, into Restore accurately
  • Creation and distribution of weekly on-call schedule for Project Managers
  • Distribute incoming mail and faxes daily
  • Fast pace with sense of urgency

Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ experience in Reception, Administration Assistant or related position
  • High school diploma or equivalent, certificate in office administration is an asset
  • Experience managing a multi-line telephone system
  • Good Microsoft Suite, general office equipment and keyboard accuracy skills
  • Knowledge of customer service principle and practices
  • Strong written and oral communication, be enthusiastic, reliable, highly organized.
