We are looking for a knowledgeable and dependable Temporary Quality Control Technician to work May to November/December, 2023. This position is primarily responsible for testing concrete at the plant and job sites to ensure product quality.

Regular work schedule will be Monday – Saturday. Hours of work will vary.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and dependable Temporary Quality Control Technician to work May to November/December, 2023. This position is primarily responsible for testing concrete at the plant and job sites to ensure product quality.

- Complete concrete quality tests such as temperature, air, and slump
- Monitoring pours and working with customers to ensure product meets specifications
- Evaluating material properties for use in concrete production
- Interacting with project and site managers regarding concrete specifications
- Optimizing concrete mixtures by adding appropriate admixtures and products
- Provide technical knowledge, service, and support to customers
- Liaison with plant and suppliers regarding product quality
- Other duties as may be assigned
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Must be capable of completing physical tasks of up to 50lbs in weight
- Preferred civil engineering technology diploma or related education
- Preferred experience with materials testing of concrete, asphalt, soil, etc.
