Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting a Purchaser for one of our busy clients near Barrie, ON.
Job Duties:
- Writing & placing purchase orders of items from vendors and suppliers. Coordinating delivery of products
- Coordinate pricing and approved vendor information
- Lead the purchasing team with sourcing raw materials, supplies, equipment, in addition to corporate goods & services.
- Monitor stock levels, ordering new items as needed, expedite delivery of goods when appropriate
- Obtain all documentation related to supplier and raw material approvals
- Maintain working relationship with suppliers
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 2+ Years Buyer/ Purchaser Experience
- Schooling in logistics is considered a plus point
- Strong contract and price negotiation skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and Inventory system
- Attention To Detail, Problem Solving, Ability to work under pressure
- Good understanding of Powersports Parts & Accessories
- Bilingual in French would be an asset
