We’re looking for a detail-oriented Publishing Specialist to help us create, manage and proof our content (sheet music) for the Pianote brand!


You excel at managing content assets and coordinating across multiple teams.


You understand music theory, specifically for the piano.

Job/Position Overview


The Publishing Specialist plays a vital role in how Musora manages and releases all content.


Key Qualifications:


Knowledge/Education/Experience

  • Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Music theory knowledge, specifically for the piano.
  • Experience with Makemusic Finale, or a similar tool is preferred.

Skills, Abilities and Other Attributes

  • Ability to exhibit the Company's Core Competencies, which include our three core values: Empathy, Passion, and Grit, as defined on our company website.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with particular attention to spelling and grammar.
  • Excellent project management and workflow management.
  • Key understanding of data management and collaboration through Google Docs, spreadsheets, Google Drive, and more.
  • A keen ability to notice the little things, in particular to sheet music and content.

Key Duties:

  • Organizing/managing content assets
  • Managing the internal release schedule through Asana
  • Communicating with different departments to align each release
  • Create and manage all posts through our own CMS (Musora Center)
  • Proof all content before releasing
  • Release all content through Musora Center (Our CMS)
  • Manage all corrections found in past-releases
  • Manage the publishing process for new song transcriptions
  • Transcribe notation for lessons

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content publishing within members' area.
  • Error reporting & ensuring all content post errors are fixed.
