About this Opportunity:

Argo Sales currently has a career opportunity available for Project Manager at our Medicine Hat, Alberta office.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this individual will have extensive experience in the estimation, design and manufacture of pressure vessels.

Job description:

The successful candidate will manage the various aspects of process equipment projects which includes and is not limited to scheduling, ordering of materials and communicating the progress of the projects to internal and external stakeholders. The Project Managers specific duties will include:

· Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials and labour for process equipment based on the review of the customers purchase order and subsequent change orders.

· Receive customer approval and Issue drawings for projects.

· Communicates answers to technical questions for internal and external stakeholders regarding ongoing and quoted projects.

· Manage and coordinate projects with the Shop Forman to ensure projects are manufactured within the construction schedule.

· Revise drawings as required and conducts occasional drafting work.

· Participate in weekly production meetings with drafting, production and purchasing department to coordinate materials and insure production estimates are accurate

· Enters work order costing

· Provides site tours, demos, and inspection of in progress projects to customers.

Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years’ experience with project management of ASME code welding and assembly work.

· Practical knowledge of piping, piping layouts, and instrumentation.

· Familiar with ASME codes.

· Previous experience in the manufacturing of process equipment.

· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

· Experience prioritizing, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines

· Willing to relocate to Medicine Hat (required)
