Imagine Therapeutic Services

Imagine Therapeutic Services offers a comprehensive multi -disciplinary service to transitional aged youths and adults with special needs, in high quality environments. These services include assessments, one to one in house support, therapeutic environments, psychological consultation, ABA specialist, activities and life skills programming and short and long-term community based therapeutic homes. Program Counsellor

We are seeking Program Counsellors to be responsible for day-to-day support of individuals diagnosed with dual diagnosis/developmental disabilities in a small home setting. We always strive to enhance the members quality of life and successful candidates need to meet these values and expectations.

Your Qualifications

• · Strong written and oral communication skills and computer skills
• · Current First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
• · Access to a reliable vehicle and Canadian Driver’s license is a must
• · Ability to obtain a clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• · Outstanding focus on member safety and care
• · A strong understanding of mental health and appropriate therapeutic
• responses are an extremely valuable assets
• · Completion of Human Services Diploma (Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, PSW etc.) from a recognized Community College or University

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Timmins, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Master's Degree (preferred)

Work Location: In person
