Poultry Butcher Job at World Meats
Breakdown of Responsibilities
· Cut carcasses, sides and quarters
· Cut, trim, bone and tie poultry in order to prepare orders as per specifications
· Remove bones from meat
· Receive, inspect and store meat upon delivery to ensure quality
Requirements
· Knowledge of raw materials, productions processes, quality control
· Knife knowledge and expertise
· Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
· Ability to Work well under pressure
· Ability to Work in a fast pace environment,
· Standing for long periods of time
· Handling heavy loads
Working Conditions
· Ability to work in cold temperatures (-10/+4) degrees “C”
· Ability to stand for long periods of time
· Ability to push, pull, lift up to 100 lbs
