Requires a Part Time Grade 5-9 Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher
Clearview Public Schools is accepting applications for a part time (approximately 0.7 FTE) probationary teaching position at Donalda School. Located between Stettler, AB and Camrose, AB, Donalda School is a dynamic, rural PreK-9 school with 75 students. This position consists of teaching Grade 5/6 Language Arts and Social Studies as well as Gr. 7/8/9 Language Arts. This successful candidate will be scheduled to teach Mondays through Fridays.
The successful applicant will be a highly organized, student focused teacher who works well in a collaborative team oriented environment and focuses on building professional and effective relationships with students. Experience using a wide variety of technology tools in a learning setting, effective classroom management, ability to communicate with students and parents, and ability to establish high expectations for student learning are valuable skills. A strong understanding of evidence-based literacy instruction is required for this position.
Donalda School has a student-centered and evidenced-based philosophy of inclusion. The successful candidate must hold a similar mindset and successful experience in supporting students with complex needs is an asset.
Successful candidates will be required to provide a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector prior to employment commencing.
