Ice Hut/ Marina Attendant

C.W. Marine provides Ice hut and ATV rental services to customers during the winter time on Lake Simcoe located in Keswick, Ontario. We are the one of the largest Ice Hut rental company with over 20 ice huts and 10 off road vehicle in asset under management in Ontario. The candidate shall be able to perform the tasks under outdoor environment. The goal is to delivery outstanding customers service to families and individuals who want to enjoy activities in Canadian Winter. The job descriptions are outlined below：Note that a candidate will need to take on all the responsibilities below:

Ice Huts Operation

Setup and maintain gas stove and BBQ stove for each ice huts, change propane gas tank when on demand and during business closing.

Setup and maintain ice fishing rods and deliver ice fishing rods and fishing baits to customers based on the assigned numbers

Drill and maintain holes on ice with equipment for each Ice Huts for fishing.

Provide trainings to customers who need to learn how to ice fish and how to operate an Ice Fishing hut.

Maintain the cleanliness of an Ice Hut between customers check-in and check-out process including change and deliver of garbage bags.

Setup equipment such as KTV, iPad, check for damages, number of fishing rods, battery recharge, house lighting management etc.

Transportation Operation

Drive off road vehicles such as ATV, side by side and Argo to deliver customers from Marina to Ice Hut location.

Drive snowmobile to lead customers vehicle to Ice Hut or lead ATV group for trail riding.

Instruct and help customers to put on helmet, perform loading and unloading procedures for customers to travel to Ice Huts or ATV trail ride.

Help guests with luggage and provide supplies to Ice Hut Operation team such as batteries, baits, fishing rods, gas tank, drills etc.

Truck the garbage bags from the Ice Huts and deliver them back to the shore’s garbage disposal bins.

Perform basic mechanical fix on equipment that under the instruction of senior team members.
