Position: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Victoria, BC
Is this a work-from-home or a hybrid? On site - Downtown Victoria

The Accounts Payable Clerk works together with the members of the firm’s Accounting Team under the direction of the Financial Controller to provide support to our legal professionals and the firm’s clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in preparation, processing and reconciliation of firm expenses and client disbursements
  • Assisting in preparation, processing and reconciliation of firm cheques, online payments and disbursements for signature and distribution

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 year of accounting related experience working in a professional environment
  • A bookkeeping certificate, or enrollment in a business administration program with a focus on financial accounting;
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and PCLaw or similar
  • Covid safety plans are in place, and we request that our employees are double vaccinated

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
