Reporting to site supervision, the role of Packaging Techniican will be expected to start in November working on a rotation shift. This position will perform general packaging work at our client’s facility located at Bonnyville.

Only Local Candidates will be considered and forklift experience is mandatory

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  Forklift experience will be considered an asset
• Must possess and maintain a valid Alberta Drivers’ License and meet requirements of Quinn Approved Driver Program
• Able to meet conditions outlined on the Physical Demands Analysis
• Achieve 100% completion of mandatory Quinn and client training
• Pre-access Drug & Alcohol test
• Training Required: CSTS 2020, Fall Protection, Confined Space

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safety
• Operating forklift/sea can inspections
• Operating packaging line/photo eyes, limit switches etc.
• Shipping receiving
• Teamwork
• Must be self- motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must provide excellent punctuality and attendance
• Perform area audits and follow up on action items
• Participate in area qualifications
• Familiar / knowledgeable with Joffre Site Safety Procedures will be considered an asset
• Must participate in all safety programs
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, own and others
• Identify, report and act upon any unsafe condition or action
• Possess good interpersonal skills and relations with Customer and fellow workers
