Job Title: Packaging Operator

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday (flexible to work some evenings/ weekends), rate of pay between $18-20 per hour depending on experience.

Location: East York (St. Clair / O’Connor)

Key Responsibilities

· Manually stacks finished case goods neatly on a pallet by pattern

· Works closely with Production Manager/Supervisor and the rest of the production team to meet the production plans and timelines

· Labels all finished pallets, and fills out the appropriate documentation

· Re-works packaging for custom orders

· Operates machinery and equipment

· Provides quality control checks and identifies any damaged goods

· Assists in the cleaning of the production area after each product run

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

· Previous experience working in a similar role

· Food and Beverage industry experience is considered an asset

· Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekend hours

· Unparalleled communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong attention to detail, and an ability to work well both independently and as part a team

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high demand for production

· Ability to lift 50lbs or more unassisted

· Ability to stand for long periods of time

· Good punctuality and attendance

· Strong work ethics
