Onsite Support Engineer/Robot Programmer/Control Engineer Job at Vitech Automation Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure designs of automation equipment are executed to meet all objectives and requirements with headquarter team members, including special purpose customized automation machine in plastic parts industry
- Provide onsite startup support including installation, commissioning and trial run follow up for the new build/refit equipment at customer's facilities mainly in USA and Mexico
- Troubleshoot and assist all control and robot related problem remotely and onsite at customer's location
- Train and support team members on site and remotely
- Problem solving and assist with customer service issues as required
- Review and alter all automation equipment designs to ensure optimization is implemented using typical software e.g. Siemens TIA portal for PLC programming, Robot teach pendant, Solidworks, and AutoCad
- Capable of program managing including cost continuous improvement and customer communications
Requirements:
- At least 3 years Robot programming and automation equipment designs and implementation experience
- Solid background in control systems, especially in plastic fuel tank production line process
- Detailed knowledge of plastic finishing process and systems
- Detailed knowledge of other special purpose customized machinery application
- Worked with fuel tank company E.g. Kautex or Plastic Omnium or local and Asia large automation companies in North America an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills and confident working in high performance working environment
- Fluent oral and written in Chinese a big asset
