Merchandiser, Live Goods, Year Round & Seasonal in BC, AB and MB Job at Van Belle Nursery

Winnipeg, Brandon, Lloydminster, Calgary, Lethbridge, Cranbrook, Kamloops, Prince George, Vancouver
Job Description:
- Merchandising live nursery products
- Inventory reporting
- Working Independently in a retail environment
- Average of 10-40 hours/week depending on your schedule in-season (Spring/Summer)
- Average of 5-10 hours/ week for off-season programs
Job Duties:
- Represent Van Belle Nursery at each retail location
- Maintain live nursery product
- Clean & face shelf product - removal of poor product
- Report to your Merchandiser Lead
- Visual display of product & product placement
Requirements:
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Be able to lift 25 lb minimum
- Able to travel between multiple locations
- Ability to work independently & problem solve
- Adaptable schedule
- Smart phone with text, data, email capabilities for daily communication
- Steel-toed shoes required for duration of shift
- Basic plant knowledge or gardening experience a plus, but not required
