We are looking for Medical Office Administrator (MOA)/Lab Tech for a Full-Time Position.
Locations: St.Catherine, Ontario, Canada.
The candidate must have experience working in a clinic and have an experience with an EMR system(Oscar or Avaros).
Job Expectations:
- We only accept Canada’s certificate and diploma.
- We are looking for a motivated, energetic, professional individual with strong medical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills.
- phlebotomist or a laboratory, technician certification or diploma from Canada.
- Answering phone calls and returning voicemail messages.
- Processing referrals and faxes
- Organizing charts and reports
- Booking appointments
- Checking in patients
- Contacting patients about results and referral appointments
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE FOR WORK SCHEDULE
Qualifications:
- We are looking for a candidate with ideally 1-2 years of medical clinic experience (walk-in and family model) and for someone who is keen on learning and growing their medical knowledge as a MOA.
- The candidate must be good with word, excel, and general computer skills. The job will entail the candidate to quickly learn medical terminology, and protocol. There is much room for growth in various aspects of the business.
- Candidates have phlebotomy and injections certificate (and comfortable in task)
- Experienced in EMR systems (OSCAR or OTHER EMRS) REQUIRED***
- Familiarity with healthcare is an asset.
- Knowledge of OHIP billing and EMR is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
