MATE POSITION available
Perfect position for mates looking to log lots of sea time. You will be the ship’s safety officer and you’ll be standing a night watch when the ships are underway and the rest of the time supporting your Captain, helping with ISM and SMS paperwork and running the deck crew. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a professional environment with fixed scheduling and if you want, the opportunity to move up to a Captain position.
Minimum Requirements:
Either 200 or 500 ton mate ticket, computer literacy and not scared of paperwork and appreciative of excellence in guest services. Preference given to candidates with diving experience. Knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
- Valid STCW Safety
- Advanced Firefighting
- Medical
- Drug Test
- First Aid
