We are currently seeking an Intermediate Marketing Specialist to join our team in Bedford, Nova Scotia.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will be accountable for executing a wide variety of marketing initiatives for our 10 clinic brands across Canada. The ideal candidate for this role will have well-rounded digital know-how, excellent writing and editing abilities, and superior planning and project management skills. You’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing to develop and implement strategies that support patient acquisition and improve patient experience.

The successful candidate needs to be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines. Enjoy hands-on collaboration with your immediate team, other functions in the organization, and external partners like vendors and agencies.

Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Assist in developing the overall marketing strategies across all brands.
  • Develop and oversee the creation of a variety of digital and physical marketing materials.
  • Write and edit compelling marketing content.
  • Manage reporting of all key measurements and results.
  • Collect key insights and utilize them in developing overall strategy and plans.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure fully integrated planning and collaboration around the patient.
  • Build and maintain relationships with marketing agencies to ensure engagements are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Manage projects effectively to ensure budgets and deadlines are met.
  • Lead other strategic initiatives or programs as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a role with similar level of responsibility; experience working with or in a marketing agency is considered an asset.
  • University degree or community college equivalent in Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Expertise in marketing and communications, especially digital marketing and content strategy.
  • Ability to multi-task and provide attention to detail.
  • Ability to contribute individually, participate in cross-functional teams, and work with agency partners.
  • Experience using Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, MailChimp, or other marketing automation software. Certification in those platforms is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs for managing customer data.
  • Experience with a CMS to manage a website or blog.
  • Experience with website development projects and/or redesigns is considered an asset.
  • Ability to manage digital advertising campaigns (paid search, paid social) and/or certified in Google Ads, Analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
