Why this Role is Important:
We are looking for a top-tier FP&A professional with experience on building BI Reporting, understanding how the information is connected to the ERP and other Systems and has a love for Financial Systems and Process Automation. This position’s main responsibility will be keeping the Technology Financials accurate, effectively communicating opportunities and risks with relevant reporting, and leading automation on current processes. The main three areas of focus are: Business Planning and Analysis, Project Control KPIs and Pioneering Financial Systems within the Technology Team and the Bank.
You are encouraged to be able to learn and use the various Financial, Project Management and Collaboration Apps that are used along the Technology Team, which will be essential to communicate efficiently with its main stakeholders: Project Outcome Office, Engineering, Infrastructure, Dev Ops and Quality Assurance –, the Bank’s FP&A and Accounting departments and other areas of the Business within the Bank and Loblaw group.
What You'll Do:
  • Ownership, reporting and Analysis of Project and Run Budget, Forecasts, Actuals
  • Maintain data, reporting and analysis of Human Capital Management KPIs
  • Prepare Monthly Financial report for Management review and ad hoc reports as required
  • Support in building reports on BI Reporting: Power BI and Looker
  • Act as Administrator and Guide for Fieldglass system set ups, Reporting and data maintenance for the Technology Team
  • Lead or be a key contributor to automation of current processes through Fieldglass, SAP, Power BI, Looker or Power Query on Excel
  • Coordinate Project Reviews with Project Managers for all assigned projects and perform post-mortem analysis to confirm opportunities and risks
  • Work with Loblaw enterprise colleagues to understand intercompany transactions that relate to IT Technology department
  • Work with Vendors and Legal department to coordinate Statements of Work execution and migration to Fieldglass
What You'll Need:
  • A bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business, Science, Engineering
  • Strong Excel knowledge (Macros and Power Query)
  • Experience with SAP or another world elite ERP
  • Experience with BI tool reporting (Data Modeling, DAX and SQL coding, Dashboarding and Deployment)
  • Experience with Jira, Fieldglass, Clarity, Miro or any other Project Systems
  • Intermediate understanding of project/IT lifecycle using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Able to work independently with little direction but also have a strong collaboration approach
  • Have good communication skills and are able to build positive relationships within a cross-functional team
  • Ability to deal with several sources of information and merge it into reports that are intuitive and easy to follow
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must
  • Must have good organization, time management, multitasking and stress management skill
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within in a cross-functional team (including senior management)
  • Nice to have technical experience: PMP, CAPM, CSD
  • Nice to have: Vendor Management experience
