Crescent Mechanical is seeking a highly motivated Industrial Electrician (442A) with troubleshooting experience, to join our growing team to complete a wide range of contractual work in the Burlington / Hamilton / Stoney Creek / Niagara / Fort Erie, servicing primarily the Steel and Food Industries.

Starting Wage: $40 - $42 Per Hour – Based on experience

About the Job:

Complete a multitude of repairs to various machines and equipment. We also complete new project installations, and modifications to suit our customer's requirements. Old or new – expect to work on it.

Skills and Experience Required:

· Grade 12 or equivalent High School Diploma.

· Completion of a four-year Electrical Apprenticeship in the Steel Industry preferred.

· Must possess a valid 442A license and have a minimum of five years’ experience as an electrician.

· Must be proficient at reading prints and following schematics and procedures.

· Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment and machinery that is controlled by a PLC.

· Must have strong communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.

· Must be able to read, write, and fluently speak English.

· Must possess a valid “G” class license with the province of Ontario and personal transportation.

· Committed to working in a safe and controlled environment.

· Must be able to work from heights.

· Must have basic knowledge of the Health and Safety Act and be aware of the fundamental regulations that apply to this work.
