Opportunity: Full time, contract for 2 months could go permanent for the right person
Location: Saanichton, BC - transit accessible
Hours: Flexible - likely 7.30am - 4.00pm
Pay rate: $30-35 plus/hour
Start: ASAP

The Logistics Supervisor working closely with Supply Chain and Production Supervision to ensure the integrity of inventory and enabling flawless production operations. Strong attention to detail is required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of Shipping, Receiving and maintain a solid process to support On Time Delivery
  • Manage all inventories in stockroom, kitting and work-in process
  • Manage daily cycle counts, ability to reconcile inventory discrepancies, and
maintaining lot control
  • Manage and perform kitting process utilizing best practices. Kit materials for Production floor; identifying
material shortages and work with Purchasing to expedite missing items
  • Ensure materials are labeled & identified while maintaining a clean working environment
  • Review on hold material and work for disposition
  • Monitor inventory reports and fix discrepancies between ERP system and physical counts. Input and file
inventory transactions into ERP system
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through scheduled and documented cycle counts
  • Perform transactions, especially adjustments and corrections to ensure quantities and costs are correct
  • Maintain inventory integrity through periodic audits
  • Research and correct inventory errors as reported by Finance, Purchasing, or Production
  • Manage the coordination of the year end Physical Inventory activity

Qualifications
  • Post-Secondary Education is highly desired; Supply Chain an asset
  • Computer proficiency with ERP/ business software; MS Office with strong mathematics proficiency
  • Effective communications, planning, writing and prioritizing skills
  • General knowledge of production techniques, standards, manufacturing and quality control principles and
practices
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain management principles
