PAL Aerospace is a proud partner of Airbus Defence & Space for the Government of Canada’s Fixed Wing Search and Rescue (FWSAR) aircraft replacement program. Through AirPro SAR- (a joint venture between PAL Aerospace & Airbus DS) the AirPro team will be responsible for the In-Service Support which covers all aspects of the maintenance work not undertaken by Royal Canadian Air Force technicians. It will include high value repairs, 2nd and 3rd level maintenance, future modification work and depot level maintenance of the aircraft.


This significant and exciting project will pave the way for innovation and opportunity within PAL Aerospace while growing our operations. In an effort to expand our current team, PAL Aerospace is currently looking for a Logistical Support Activities (LSA) Data Analyst in Ottawa, Ontario to work with AirPro.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze master data related to integrated logistics support activities (LSA)
  • Support the DND CC295 WSM as required and coordinate with Customer Central Data Manager to ensure updated LSA Master Data is properly validated and provide to Customer repository (DRMIS)
  • Provide logistical support analysis functions of FWSAR
  • Support flow and accuracy of LSA Data through various contractor data management IT support systems including reporting LSA deficiencies
  • Provide general LSA data expertise and support to Maintenance Program, Reliability and Maintainability, Configuration Management, and Technical Publications Support Systems.
  • Other Duties as assigned.


Qualifications and skills
:

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree or diploma focused on engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Aerospace environment
  • Experience in analyzing large quantities of data
  • Understanding of Logistic Support Analysis is preferred
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices is considered an asset
  • A strong level of operational knowledge in MS Excel & MS Access, use of relatable databases
  • Experience or knowledge of the Canadian (Department of National Defence - DND) Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM) and DRMIS is considered an asset
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
