As a Heart of House AKM, your main focus is to ensure 100% kitchen operations by all kitchen team members and to deliver great food.
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
The HOH AKM is responsible for the heart of the house operation including, but not
limited to, food storage and preparation, staff training, as well as general cleanliness and sanitation
Specific roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Heart of House Operations:
Responsible for shift supervising including all aspects of kitchen operations including its organizational
set up, opening and closing duties
Managing labour through effect shift management
Ensure overall guest satisfaction through delivery of great food by all HOH staff
To ensure 100% adherence to all food specs and procedures
Ensure 100% uniform adherence
To ensure all cleaning duties are being completed every shift
Ensure all Shoeless Joe’s most updated systems and standards are available and consistently used
Assist in staff incentive programs
Assist in executing all promotions to standard
Assist in conducting daily shift huddles
Assist in weekly inventories as instructed or required
Assist Kitchen Manager where required
Ensure safe food handling and health & safety requirements (including WHMIS) are followed at all times
Training & Development:
To ensure constant training and development of the HOH team
To ensure heart of house team is effective and efficient in the job roles
Provide regular feedback to HOH team
Provide feedback to management staff and facts for meetings
