TYPE: Full-Time Contract Term (12 Months)

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Junior Project Analyst will support a variety of business projects across the Aftermarket business units through the project life cycle, contribute to the planning process, track KPI’s, analyze project performance and provide insight and recommendations for improvement. This position will support business information systems across the organization and will be responsible for researching, collecting and analyzing relevant business data and transforming this data into resources and solutions that will contribute to the Company achieving the desired business goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a Project/Business Analyst position or a related role
  • Post-Secondary Advanced Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business, a related program OR equivalent experience
  • Experience leading meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in Project Management Lifecycle
  • Advanced MS Office Suite user, with a focus on Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, queries and report writing
  • Preference would be given to users with experience with Smartsheet, CDK systems, Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Targit BI
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan and execute assignments with general guidelines and work independently
  • Ability to work well with individuals within and outside of the organization
  • Strong critical thinking, proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy of reporting

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Participate in all steps of key business projects from planning through to execution
  • Learn and become a super user of various business applications such as Smartsheet, Targit BI, Power BI and CDK systems
  • Maintain existing Smartsheet tools and ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements. Manage sharing permissions for all Smartsheet tools
  • Create new Smartsheet tools such as sheets, forms, and dashboards. Create dynamic views and utilize tools such as data shuttle and data mesh
  • Analyze project data and provide insight to optimize performance and identify problems, and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide operational support such as liaising with stakeholders and accurately tracking timelines or KPIs related to key operational initiatives
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements. Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
