O2E Brands Inc. is looking for a junior accountant to join our growing team! As part of the Finance department, you will enjoy a wide variety of valuable accounting experience in a fast pace and collaborative environment.
O2E Brands Inc. is looking for a junior accountant to join our Stellar finance team to support on creating and executing accounting activities and initiatives.

For this role’s duty and responsibility we anticipate that you will be in the office 25% of time.
O2E Brands Inc. is looking for a junior accountant to join our Stellar finance team to support on creating and executing accounting activities and initiatives.

- Maintain working paper schedules and perform regular reconciliations on balance sheet items
- Complete month-end procedures in an accurate and timely manner
- Prepare bank reconciliations, general journal entries and validating with supporting documents
- Prepare monthly financial statements variance analysis for the month-end meeting with Corporate Controller and FP&A
- Assist with year-end duties; prepare working paper for audit/review engagements as needed
- Support with ad-hoc requests as needed
- Degree in commerce/management/accounting or equivalent, working towards CPA
- Some experience in an accounting-related role, desired
- Strong Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables is a must
- Organized, meticulous, and a strong problem solver with a willingness to adapt to changes
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle account reconciliations and analysis including resolution of reconciling items
- Experience in Great Plains is an asset
