Location: Multimatic Ride Dynamics, Newmarket, Ontario, Canada

Position Overview:

Multimatic Ride Dynamics (MRD) is one of the newest of Multimatic’s North American divisions. Multimatic Ride Dynamics is looking for a Inventory Clerk who will assist the Materials department in increasing company profitability and improving employee work conditions.

Plant Location: Multimatic Ride Dynamics - 1100 Stackhouse Road, Newmarket, ON, L3Y 8E4, Canadaa

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verification of production receipts in IMS and SAP/Data Collection.
• Work to achieve 100% accuracy in all aspects of material flow and on hand inventory.
• Correct errors and report back issues to production leadhands daily.
• Reconciliation of shift production and scrap into IMS.
• Perform inventory cycle counts as per schedule or request from material planner(s) and production scheduler and update files/records on tracking sheets.
• Manage scan sheets and issues on the production floor.
• Summary analysis inventory adjustments. Report out to operations.
• Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or Department Manager.
• Abide by all company safety rules, responsibilities, policies, and procedures including the legislative requirements of the OHSA.
• Work in compliance and conform to the Environment and ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Adopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of a high school diploma.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word).
• Good mathematical ability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent investigative and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team.
