Inside Sales Representative

Dunrite Concrete is Calgary’s premier supplier of concrete products and equipment. We offer full-time steady work and regular hours in a friendly, 3rd generation business. You’ll also be encouraged and supported to develop your own high level of expertise in this very technical area of the construction industry.

We value inside sales professionals who can apply the knowledge and expertise they develop to solve specialized customer requirements in concrete preparation, placement, and finishing. Always willing to learn the industry and build your expertise, you are factual, precise, and organized. Not wanting to be bored, you work efficiently at a faster than normal pace while precisely handling a wide variety of customer-driven challenges. This job requires clear thinking capabilities, detailed entries, and demands fast, but careful and complete decision making.

• Prior experience working in sales and/or an order desk
• Prior experience with construction products and/or equipment
• Understanding of concrete construction and finishing would be a desirable asset
• A desire to become an expert who’s advice others trust, value, and respect
• A desire to never be bored and have the days go by at a quick pace
• Enjoyment in helping construction professionals to have successful projects
• A commitment to be reliable and trustworthy to your customers and teammates
• An ability to reliably work full-time days from Monday to Friday
• Proficiency in using business and office computer applications

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Working with customers in-person, on the phone and over email
• Recommending products, equipment and supplies that meet their project needs
• Quoting, closing, and following-up on orders to meet customer commitments
• Accurately completing orders and related paperwork
• Providing exceptional service that impresses busy construction clients
