Industrial Painter Job at Vacutrux
Vacutrux is a leading vacuum truck manufacturer located in Elmira ON. We are looking for a paint helper and prepper to join our final coatings team and help with our mission.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Properly prepare surfaces before painting; prep, sand, clean and mask large steel vessel tanks, trailers, truck frames, parts and fabrications as part of our finishing team
- Final coating duties as required
- Set up, operate and maintain grit-blasting machine
- Operate forklift and other material handling equipment
- Ideal candidate has prep experience,
- Knowledge, maintenance and repair of painting equipment
- Neat storage of paints, thinners and other supplies
- Safe handling procedures of hazardous supplies
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or related field
