Kiewit Canada is hiring Industrial/Formwork Carpenters for multiple active and upcoming large scale construction projects across Canada, for a variety of positions and levels.
Requirements
- Registered Level 2 or higher Apprentice or Journey Person (JM)
- Minimum 3 years experience in infrastructure or bridge carpentry
- Minimum 5 years experience in carpentry
- Experience with concrete pours
- Experience in multiple segments
- Man lift and forklift experience is an asset
- Other trade skills may include layout, rigging/signaling, cutting/welding and the erection and dismantling of scaffolding.

- Required Tickets/Certificates: WHIMIS, CSTS, Fall Protection, Valid Driver License
- Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a Surehire Drug and Alcohol and Fit for Work test
- For all Certified Trades, candidates must be registered apprentices or Journey people (JM)

The Trans Mountain Expansion Project, Spread 5B project is a Kiewit and Bonatti partnership. Includes the construction of approximately 85 km of pipeline in the Coquihalla region.

This construction project for the Stage 2 Confederation Line of the Ottawa LRT has an estimated duration of 5 years.

The multi segment highway rebuild is located on the stretch of Highway 5 between Hope and Merritt, BC. A joint venture between Peter Kiewit & Sons and Emil Anderson Construction.

Coquitlam, BC
The replacement of water control gates and refurbishment of existing tunnel structure. Work includes demolition and replacement of at-grade and underground concrete elements, and ground support and shotcrete of the existing tunnel structure.

Trans Mountain Project, responsible for building and powering the substations along the pipeline. This specific project is the building of a concrete pad.
