Weaver Group currently has an opening for a Hydrovac Swamper

General Responsibilities:

• Assist Hydrovac Operators
• Maintain equipment as per WGL and Manufacturers guidelines
• Follow WGL safety program including Safe Work Practices and Procedures

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum 1 year experience as a Hydrovac Swamper
• Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle (the WGL shop is 15 minutes away from Grande Prairie and is not accessible by public transportation)
• Current H2S Alive
• Current BC/AB Standard First Aid, Level C with AED
• Current CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
• Current Level 1 Ground Disturbance
• For the purpose of personal and work site safety, candidate must be able to fluently speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
• Able to take direction and follow instruction
• Willing to perform physically demanding work in all climates
• Must be a resident of the Grande Prairie area, non-negotiable
