We are seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Trainee to join our Health, Safety and Environment team. The ideal candidate is passionate about HS&E and willing to put their “boots on the ground”.

***This is a temporary role; contract duration 4 to 6 months***

Purpose

Support the Health Safety and Environment team with improvement projects and other required tasks in compliance with the established management guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Support the team with improvement projects
• Aid with mapping tools on-site
• Follow-up and aid with improvements on the housekeeping project
• Participate in the implementation of the HSE management tool online
• Support the HSE team with other ad-hoc responsibilities
• Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility
• Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area

Qualifications:

• Working towards obtaining a post-secondary degree in Engineering or environmental studies, or;
• Completion of relevant post-secondary degree or certificate within the last 4 years
• Less than 2 years of experience
• Able to work during a typical workday at a minimum of 20 hours a week
• Passionate about HSE and aspires to build a career in the Health Safety and Environment

Skills:

• Strong computer skills; Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of Power BI would be considered an asset

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and diverse work environment
• Effectively working with other team members and able to work independently
• Strong “Customer First” focus
• Safety and Quality minded; Boots on the ground personality and interpersonal skills to work with all levels of the company
