Fleming College, Toronto Programs is a public college-private partnership between Fleming College and Trebas Institute, with academic delivery and student support services managed by Trebas Institute. Trebas Institute, established in 1979, is a private vocational school with campuses in Montreal and Toronto and offers a broad range of programs in audio, film and television, business, and technology as well as music, event, and entertainment management. Reporting to the Associate Director, Creative Design, the Graphic Designer will produce highly creative designs for the college. The role holder must have the ability to apply it to both digital and traditional media effectively.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design projects within established brand standards for print and digital media.
  • Design, update and maintain graphics and content on all digital and web entities including logo design, email marketing, corporate website, microsites, display ads and landing pages.
  • Liaise with agencies and developers to launch websites, landing pages, display ad banners and email marketing campaigns
  • Liaise with international recruitment team members for design requests
  • Package files and images for printing including image resizing and editing.
  • Design for website/mobile responsive development.
  • Create social media graphics to support digital content.
  • Conduct photography and record video testimonials as and when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1–2 years of design experience
  • Strong knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, HTML and CSS
  • Strong understanding and proven experience of both digital and traditional media including logo/icon design, print media, UX/UI, web design, email marketing, social media, and display ads
  • Excellent Color, Typography, Layout Design skills
  • Must be hands-on and able to work collaboratively and independently in a small team environment
  • Able to perform under tight deadlines
  • Possess photography, editing and video recording skills
  • Proficiency in Windows is essential to this job
  • Basic knowledge of good SEO practices
  • Training in web development tools and technologies (WordPress / Wix / Umbraco)
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check Required
