About us
Summer & Grace Gallery is an innovative and energetic art gallery in downtown Oakville
Responsibilities:
- Comfortably engage and educate clients about the artists and with the stories behind each piece.
- Manage art sales.
- Manage the gallery's staff.
- Help create and run art events, exhibitions, artist open calls, artists solo shows.
- Assess clients needs and provide assistance and information on currently available works of art and featured artists.
- Explore and execute avenues to bring new clients to the gallery.
- Work collaboratively with owner and staff to provide support on a variety of administrative tasks and daily operations.
- Create and maintain attractive art displays throughout gallery.
- Supervise maintenance and supplies of gallery.
- 5 years sales experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A genuine interest in art and design.
- A people-person with the ability and confidence to engage with a range of people.
- Ability to prioritize & multitask
- Confident and comfortable using Google Drive
- High degree of computer literacy and ability to learn new programs (MAC OS)
- Knowledge of WordPress and SEO
- Experience working with the Adobe Suite a bonus.
- Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Excited to work in a team environment to continue the growth of the business
- Willing to roll up your sleeves and do a variety of jobs as and when is necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
