Full-time Meat Cutter Job at McKeen Metro Glebe
Established, family owned grocery store currently seeking candidates for Full-Time Meat Cutter.
This individual must be passionate about being part of a successful team, and able to delivery excellent customer service in a competitive, fast paced retail atmosphere.

JOB SUMMARY:
- Cut, prepare and merchandise meat and fish selections
- Stock, rotate and maintain product displays and inventory
- Provide professional service to all customers
- Physically receive meat/fish delivery load inventory (must be able to lift 10-20lb boxes)
- Assist with product ordering
- Maintain and develop merchandise displays
- Follow store safety procedures at all times
- Assist in inventory management
- Assist in maintaining price integrity throughout department
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Training in meat cutter/butchery
- Knowledge and expertise in computer programs relating to retail industry
- Post-secondary education is an asset
- 2-3 years previous meat and grocery retail experience
- Ability to lead and work as part of a team
- Weekend/Evening availability
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Positive, self-motivated and professional
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.30 per hour
