The Job: The Days Inn Medicine Hat is looking for a Full-Time Front Desk Agent.
The Requirements: 8 hours shifts will be from 3pm-11pm. You must be able to work Saturday and Sunday as well as varying weekdays. The ideal candidate will have worked as a front desk agent in the hotel industry and understand the requirements for this role. If you have a strong customer service background and/or hotel experience, we would like to hear from you. You must be a driven, self starter who is motivated and eager to learn. You will excel at customer service as you would be the first point of contact for arriving and departing guests. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for registering guests and assigning rooms, processing group arrivals and departures, taking, cancelling, and changing room reservations, processing guests' departures which includes calculating charges and receiving payments, balancing cash, and completing related forms. You must be friendly, love to smile, and exude Prairie Hospitality by making every guest feel warmly cared for and always welcome. If you feel you are this person, forward your resume to us.
