Work as part of a team responsible for the production and packaging of industrial cheese products for further conversion into some of Canada’s most recognized and loved retail and food service brands.

REQUIREMENTS :

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in industrial food/dairy manufacturing is considered an asset.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of effective communication with coworkers and managers.
• Demonstrated consistency, quality, and accuracy in your work performance.
• Previous knowledge of sanitation, chemical handling, quality control, GMP and HACCP guidelines is considered an asset.
• Computer skills (Excel, Word...etc.).
• Ability to exercise good judgement and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ability to work on your feet in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work on a day or night shift is preferred.
• Reliably commute to the facility location just outside of the City of Lethbridge.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITY :

• Work in compliance with all safety standards, GMP, and HACCP principles.
• Set up, monitor, and operate production equipment or processes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or process issues during production.
• Complete all required paperwork in adherence to standard procedures.
• Clean and sanitize production areas and equipment
• Regular material handling up to 25kg
• All other tasks as assigned as per below.

POSITION DETAILS :

• 12 hour shifts either 7:00AM – 7:00PM or 7:00PM – 7:00AM.
• 7 Days off in every 2 week shift cycle.
• No rotating shift work.
• Contract Length: 6 Months
• Opportunity for contract extension or promotion to Permanent Full-Time Employee during, or at the conclusion of the contract based on performance.
• Starting Wage: $21.00 per hour, plus applicable shift premiums.
• All Full-Time Permanent employees are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package include flexible health and dental programs, bonus packages, and RRSP matching.
