Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Clerk / Cashier (with Supervisory duties) at our C-Store/ Gas Bar location in Nipawin, SK.

Reporting to the C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include:

• Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
• Provide Legendary pump island and in-store service; serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, operate the point-of-sale system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties
• Be responsible for store opening and lock-up procedures including providing supervisory direction to the team on duty
• Ensure safety is held as the highest priority
• Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience
• Maintain a neat, clean and orderly location at all times
• Have a good working understanding of the point-of-sale system, pumps, propane and car wash
• Order, receive, price and display merchandise as required as specified by the team leader
• Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports
• Follow company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned

• You have previous supervisory experience and can direct and motivate small teams
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results-orientated, and strive to be the best in what you do
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
• You are attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills
• You have an ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly
• You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
• You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
• You must be willing to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certification
