Under the direction of the Manager, the Resource Consultant will provide EarlyON Child and Family Centre and Licensed Child Care Program with specialized supports necessary for the inclusion of children by providing modeling, observation, information and program planning information/recommendations for all children. Services will be provided to EarlyON and Licensed Child Care Programs across the district of Nipissing with the exception of South Algonquin.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post Secondary Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Bilingual Language Proficiency evaluation required
- Valid Driver’s License and vehicle required
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development
- 2 years experience working with children who have special needs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English
- Keyboard and computer skills required
- Good interpersonal skills
- Standard First Aid
SALARY: $39 448.50 - $47 853.00 per annum plus benefits
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 37.5 hour work week with occasional
evenings/weekends
